The Orange Rural Fire Department has recently added a new piece of equipment to its inventory. Through a competetive grant process, with US Smokeless Tobacco, we were able to aquire this much need piece of equipment to use throughout the district and wittin the county.

It is our intentions to equip the Polaris with a slide in skid unit so that we will have fire suppression capabilities. We will host an open house and donut sale on October 10, 2009, to raise the funds for the skid unit! So please come out and show your support for the Orange Rural Fire Department.
